IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM STOIC ANCHOR ASSOCIATION

Our free mental health and psychiatric support is reserved for individuals who genuinely cannot afford the cost of care.

If you are financially able to pay for therapy or psychiatric services, we kindly ask that you choose the paid service instead of applying for free support. Please be honest about your financial circumstances and do not provide false information to access free care.

Every free session is a resource that could help someone who genuinely has no other way to access support. Misusing this initiative may reduce the availability of financial assistance for individuals and families who truly need it.

We trust our community to help us keep this support available for those who need it most.

Who May Be Eligible?

  • Individuals and families with low or no income who cannot reasonably afford professional care.
  • Children and young people from financially disadvantaged backgrounds who need psychological or emotional support.
  • Orphans and children without adequate financial support, subject to appropriate consent and safeguarding requirements.
  • Individuals from underserved communities who have limited access or no access to mental health services.
  • People experiencing significant financial hardship where the cost of therapy or psychiatric consultation would be a serious burden.

CHILDREN WHO QUIETLY REACH OUT FOR HELP

A message for little ones

We love you. You are not alone.

If you are hurting, confused, frightened, or simply need someone to listen, you can reach out to us.

You do not have to carry everything by yourself.

We will do our best to be a safe and supportive place for you, and you will be treated with kindness, patience, and respect.

You do not have to be scared of being judged for what you feel or what you have been through.

Your feelings matter, and asking for help is not something you should ever feel ashamed of.

For Children and Teens Under 18 Who Quietly Reach Out for Help

We recognise that children and teenagers under the age of 18 may sometimes reach out privately or quietly when they are struggling and do not know where else to turn.

If you reach out to us, we will listen with kindness, patience, dignity, and without judgment. Financial circumstances should never make you feel that you cannot ask for support.

Where appropriate, support may include access to free counselling, psychological support, or psychiatric assistance, depending on your needs and the availability of qualified professionals.

Your privacy, consent, safety, and wellbeing matter to us. We will respect your confidentiality and involve you in decisions about your care in an age-appropriate way.

However, if we become seriously concerned that you or someone else may be at risk of serious harm, information may need to be shared with an appropriate trusted adult or safeguarding professional to help keep you safe.

Any support provided to anyone under 18 will follow applicable safeguarding, consent, confidentiality, and professional requirements.

Sometimes, asking for help is the first step toward healing. You do not have to be ashamed or afraid to take that step.
